Every system in the body relies on oxygen from cognition to digestion, effective breathing can only provide you with a greater sense of mental clarity,it can help you sleep better,digest food more effectively, improve your body immune response and reduce stress levels.
When relaxed you can take a moment to notice how your body feels or think about how you breathe when you first wake up in the morning or before you fall asleep.
When your body is stressed you tend to have an increased heart rate,fast breathing, all decrease as you breathe deeply to relax.
A reminder for this year to always remember your power of breath. It is a natural powerful tool we can embrace as we start the new year since it can be learnt. Happy New year 2023.
